Meetings consist of

• group discussions in breakout sessions with WOCN consultants;
• suppliers’ representatives with the latest in appliances and supplies;
• guest speakers such as physicians, surgeons, proctologists, WOCNs, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and nutritionists specializing in ostomy care.

Meetings are open to

• all who have or will have ostomy or diversionary surgery.
• relatives, friends, and care takers.
• medical/healthcare professionals.  

Annual Company Products’ Display

Every December, Metro Maryland hosts an Ostomy Appliance Fair with displays and representatives from a number of companies demonstrating the latest in ostomy products.  You have the opportunity to visit with the representatives, to exchange ideas with other members, and to receive additional help in an informal atmosphere.
